HCHS congratulates the awardees in the recently concluded International Competitions and Assessment for Schools in English (ICAS-ENGLISH) sponsored by the University of South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Among the thousands of participants in this competition, 24 HOPE students made it to the top 10% of the total number of participants from various countries world wide.. Christiana Lois Tiu of Grade 11-HUMSS toped the HCHS delegation with a percentile of 99%. She also garnered an outstanding percentile of 96% for the entire Southeast Asia Region. She was followed by Mackenzie Zoe Chua (6-Endurance), and Janina Kiara Tan (7-Persevrance). The three of them received the Distinction Award.
Meanwhile, Lex Erl Lim and Elijah Tuyay of 12-STEM, Jeshih Myr Paule of 11-STEM, Hadrian Marcus Te and Reana Leagne Daguman of 7-Perseverance, Edley Stan Cheng and Azenneth Jane Saw of 4-Creativity, Chael Matthew Sze of 4-Responsibility, and Luke Eron Sim and Kishabel Coleen Siu both from 2-Respect garnered the Credit Awards
Lastly, Adrian Agravante and Selene Elyza So (10-Justice), Frances Andrea Chua (10-Loyalty), Faith Anne Sia and Zack Theodore Sim, (9- Compassion), Roen Christopher Robles, (6-Endurance), Simon Jaxit Martinez and Marian Helaene Te (5-Genrosity), Salvador Arnesto Jr. (4 Creativity ) and Joshua Elijah Dee (3-Responsibility) received the Merit Awards.
