Building a Resilient Community: Hope Christian High School’s Earthquake Preparedness

Hope Christian High School participated in the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on November 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM, as mandated by the Department of Education. The drill equipped students, teachers, and staff with essential skills, such as “Drop, Cover, and Hold,” to ensure calm and swift responses during emergencies.

This activity enhanced earthquake awareness, reinforced personal and communal safety, and assessed evacuation plans and emergency preparedness. HCHS extends its gratitude to Senior Officer Lorenzo from the Bureau of Fire and Barangay 263, led by Captain John Juanitos, for their support.

Through initiatives like these, the school continues to prioritize safety and holistic growth, fostering leaders who value the well-being of others.
