Introducing Chinese culture to our young learners was fun and engaging during our last Chinese New Year’s celebration. Preschool Chinese teachers partnered with our parents to make this experience possible by doing a parent and child activity. The exchange of Chinese new year greetings between family members, giving and receiving of “红包” and responding with polite words ”谢谢“ and “不用谢” was simple yet meaningful.
Indeed, the best way to learn culture is to put it into action.
